Portcraft layouts and project evidence

React Frontend Engineer Portfolio Template

Build a React frontend portfolio around accessible components, state management, and UI testing using the Aurora preset in Portcraft.

Who this portfolio is for

React frontend engineers presenting interaction design, reusable components, and reliable UI behavior to a technical reviewer.

Why choose Aurora?

Aurora uses a connected experience timeline and project cards, making it easy to connect a component decision to the role where you made it.

Upload a PDF or DOCX resume, review the extracted content, then choose Aurora from Templates in the builder. This page does not replace your saved design or resume.

Aurora builder preset with fictional sample content
Actual Aurora layout preview with fictional sample content, not a customer portfolio. This is a free preset; hosted publishing is separate.

Project stories worth including

The following are fictional project ideas, not claims about your experience. Replace them with work you can explain and evidence you are allowed to publish.

Accessible component kit

A fictional React component kit with keyboard-friendly dialogs, form controls, and documented component states.

Evidence to include

Show focus behavior, accessible names, contrast checks, and tests for keyboard and screen-reader interactions.

Searchable issue board

A fictional issue-tracking interface with URL-backed filters and explicit loading, empty, and failure states.

Evidence to include

Explain local versus shared state, request cancellation, and tests for stale responses and narrow-screen layouts.

Review before you publish

  • Show the same interface at phone and desktop widths.
  • Describe an accessibility decision with a reproducible test.
  • Explain why state belongs in a component, URL, or shared store.

Technical questions and answers

How many React projects should I feature?

Start with two or three projects you can explain in depth. Distinct evidence about accessibility, state, testing, and your contribution is more useful than many similar tutorial cards.

Does the portfolio have to use the same stack as my projects?

No. The portfolio presents your work. Explain the actual stack for each project separately; selecting a Portcraft layout does not convert project code into React.
